5. Nasher Sculpture Center

Last on our list but definitely not for any specific reason! The Nasher Sculpture Center is a museum and shady park all combined into one oasis right in the art district of Dallas! The outdoor exhibits rival museums around the world and is a must see for anyone new in town or, bring visiting family there to impress them with our North Texas culture. 4. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza

According to Wikipedia The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is a museum located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building in downtown Dallas, Texas, overlooking Dealey Plaza at the intersection of Elm and Houston Streets. Dallas residents this is the place that will ever be remembered as a somber reality to our history. The Sixth Floor Museum is the old book depository, where the shot that killed JFK was fired. Dealy Plaza is the location that JFK was driving through when he was fatally shot.

2. Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

Located in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is a leader in interpretive, collecting, showcasing art from the 1940s to the present. Not only are the pieces inside the building worth the visit. The building itself is a true work of art with the steel building designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. With sculptures to admire both inside and out the museum has a beautiful reflecting pond, education center as well as a theater. This is a must see Fort Worth treasure.
