As the holidays approach, the spirit of giving becomes the heartbeat of our community and nowhere is that more meaningful than right here in Lantana. At Reserve 76 Realty, we believe real estate is about more than buying and selling homes; it’s about investing in the people and neighborhoods that make North Texas such a special place to live.
This season, we’re shining a light on Mission Moms, a remarkable nonprofit that has been serving Denton ISD families for over 14 years. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to feed and support vulnerable and low-wealth children and families in our local schools. But this year, that mission has never been more urgent.
The need has grown dramatically, with more than 250 families at Lantana schools, including E.P. Rayzor Elementary, Adkins Elementary, Blanton Elementary, and Harpool Middle School facing food insecurity. At the same time, donations are down, stretching resources thinner than ever before.
Local Giving That Changes Lives
When school resources pause during breaks, Mission Moms steps in to fill the gap, ensuring no child goes hungry and every family has the essentials they need. Supporting hyperlocal charities like Mission Moms means your kindness stays right here helping your neighbors, classmates, and friends in Lantana and across Denton ISD.
Your donation or volunteer hours won’t get lost in a large organization you can literally see the difference it makes in your own community. Whether you give time, food, or funds, you’re helping local children and families who deserve stability and compassion.
Spotlight on Mission Moms
For more than a decade, Mission Moms has built programs that deliver immediate relief and long-term impact. From annual Thanksgiving and December drives to ongoing weekly pantry programs, their volunteers and partners make sure families across Denton ISD have consistent access to food and support.
