Hall’s Pumpkin Farm

Where: 3420 Hall Johnson Road, Grapevine
Cost: Adults and kids ages 12 and over $5, kids ages 4–11 $3, ages 3 and younger are free.
When: Daily beginning Oct. 2; Monday–Thursday 3–8 pm, Friday 3–10 pm, Saturday 10 am–10 pm, Sunday 1–8 pm
Details: This working farm has a 2-acre corn maze, tractor hayrides, farm animals, and concessions. You can also pick pumpkins off the vine or grab one that’s already been picked. Cash only.

Mainstay Farm

Where: 1004 W. Bethesda Road, Cleburne 
Cost: $18.95 with online purchase; $21.95 at the gate for ages 3 and older. Season pass available
When: Sept. 24–Oct. 31; Wednesday and Tuesday 10 am–2 pm, Friday evenings 5 pm–9 pm, Saturday 10 am–8 pm, Sunday 10 am–6 pm
Details: Mainstay has it all & you’ll want to make sure you give yourself time to enjoy all the activities. Fall activities include hayrides, barrel train rides, 3 story treehouse, jumping pillows, hay bales jumping pit, farm animals, kid pedal carts, tube hill slide, and more! Yesterland Farm

Where: 15410 Interstate 20, Canton
Cost: General admission passes at the gate begin at $24.95.
When: Open weekends from Sept. 19–Nov. 8. Fright Farm in October every Friday and Saturday from 6-10 pm.
Details: The farm features a ferris wheel, corn mazes, farm zoo, pumpkin patch, climbing wall and more!
 

Dallas Arboretum

Where: 8525 Garland Road, Dallas
Cost: $17 adults, $12 for kids 2−12, free for kids 2 and younger. Timed tickets are required and can be purchased online. 
When: Sept. 19–Nov. 1
Details: The Autumn at the Arboretum festival features over 15,000 fall plants. The pumpkin village has more than 90,000 pumpkins of all shapes and gourds. Kids can play in a hay bale maze, have plenty of photo opportunities and pick your own pumpkins for sale at the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch.
 

Preston Trail Farm

Cost: $10 per person – Children under 2 are free
When: Sept. 26—Nov. 25; 8 am−8 pm
Details: Take an educational tour and learn about the 50 farm animals on the property. The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm admission includes a farm train, feed for petting barn, roping pen, hay maze, and hayride.
 

Country Critter

Storybook Ranch

When: Sept. 26- Nov. 1; Thursday-Sunday 10am until dark.
Details: The ranch offers a hay maze, horse rides, petting zoo, bounce house, obstacles course, a wagon ride through a western town.
 

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Where: 5100 Cross Timbers Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028
Cost: Parking is $10 M-F and $20 for weekend admission. Price includes all activities.
When: Oct 3 – Oct. 31 from 9 am – 7 pm
Details: The Double Oak Ranch pumpkin patch features Cartoon Character cutouts, a hay maze, a little train, and hayrides. In addition, several local vendors provide food for purchase.
 

Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm

Cost: $12 for an unlimited fall fun bracelet (entry fee), including entry into all activities. Kids under four years are free. Cash only!
When: Oct. 2–Oct. 31; Saturdays 10 am–6 pm and Sundays 1–6 pm
Details: Only 30 minutes south of Dallas and Ft. Worth, it is the perfect place to experience a classic, Texas-proud, fall atmosphere for the whole family. Get a taste of the country life on this beautiful farm. When: Monday-Sunday – Hours vary from 9 am – 6 pm and reservations are required.
Details: Pricing includes a petting zoo, hayride, and free hotdog (on weekends) or hayride, petting zoo, and free mini pumpkin (M-F). The park also features a pumpkin storyboard walking trail, farm train, and concession stand.
 

Lone Star Family Farm

Details: Admission includes a corn maze, hay bale maze, cow train ride, corn cannon, giant slides, pedal tractors, roping dummies, stick horses, farm animals, pig races, hayrides, pumpkin patch, photo opportunities, concessions, and picnic area with plenty of picnic tables for guests.
 

Green Meadows

When: Oct. 2 – Nov. 1 10am-3pm daily
Details: At Green Meadows Farm, they try to educate children of all ages about farm animals while providing fun for all. The farm has over 200 animals, pig races, feeding animals, hayrides, rubber duck races, combine slide, firetruck slide, wood tracker, and play area. All activities are included with the price of admission.
 

Dallas Farmers Market

Cost: Free
When: Sept. 12-October 31 10 am-6 pm
Details: This isn’t your typical pumpkin patch, but is still fun to visit and features live music. Be sure to get a photo at the entrance – it’s certainly Instagram-worthy. Not only can you shop at the different vendors at the Farmers Market, but also get photos and buy the perfect pumpkin. If you want the pumpkin patch empty, then go during the week when there are no vendors. They keep the pumpkin display up for the entire season and it’s the perfect time to visit without the crowns.

Elves Farm

Where: 601 Harvey Lane, Denison
Cost: $10 per person. Includes the Pumpkin Tour, all farm activities, and pumpkin.
When: Oct. 3–31; Saturday 10am–5pm, Sunday 1pm–5pm
Details: Activities include the farm zoo, hayride, dress the scarecrow, hay jump, sack races, GaGa ball, human foosball court, bounce bed, and more.

St. James Pumpkin Patch

Where: 9845 McCree Road, Dallas, Texas 75238
Cost: Free
When: September 26 – October 31 Sunday – Thursday: 1-7 pm, Friday and Saturday: 10 am-7pm
Details: With the pumpkins and the church in the background, it makes for gorgeous photos. Several thousand pumpkins in various sizes, gourds, and Indian corn is available for sale. Funds go towards the St. James Youth Ministry.
